Complete the following steps to set up supervisors who are allowed to approve all employees in their own home labor distribution, and are allowed to edit their own transaction requests, but cannot approve their own transaction requests. Step one must be completed in the employee record of the supervisor. The remaining steps can either be set up in the employee record or in this Supervisor Assignments screen.
Step 1: Add the Required Roles to the Supervisor's Employee Record
Step 2: Set up the User as a Supervisor
Step 3: Assign the Supervisor a Role with Approver Rights to the Organization Unit(s)
Step 4: Remove the Supervisor's Approver Rights to His/Her Own Record
Step 5: Assign the Supervisor a Role with Editor Rights to His/Her Own Record (optional)
