Scheduled Tasks

The Scheduled Tasks screen is used to select and configure tasks to be automatically run on a specified cycle. For example, certain tasks (like the census download) can be scheduled to run every eight hours. Other tasks (like the employee download) can be scheduled to run once a day, while some can be set to run once a month, quarterly, etc.

Depending on the selected task, the processing can be configured to run daily, on specific days of the week, or on specific months, etc.

The following section options are available when a scheduled task record is open:

Displays the basic information on the scheduled task.

Displays the scheduled frequency information, which determines how often this task is run.

This screen is available when the scheduled task is for an option related to configuration formatting (for example, badges) and determines which configuration is selected.

Active

Indicates whether this scheduled task record is active (Yes/No).

Created By

Name of the user who created this task record. This information is automatically entered by the system.

Name

The short name or abbreviation identifying this scheduled task record.

Start Up Task

Indicates whether this scheduled task is configured to run at application start up (Yes/No).
