It may become necessary to suspend an employee Schedule Incentive Agreement. An employee's authorization to bid on shifts is suspended for an indicated number of days, based on the reason of the suspension. Once the employee reaches the Next Eligible date, he or she must sign a new agreement.
To suspend an employee's rights for Schedule Incentive, complete the following steps:
Suspension Reason from the options listed in the right pane.
Expired date automatically defaults to the current date, but can be updated.
Next Eligible date is calculated by the system using the Expired date and adding the number of
Days Until Next Eligible for the entered Suspension Reason.
Reviewer Comments with more information on the suspension
Suspension Comments are automatically filled in, based on the selected Suspension Reason code, but if they are set to be editable, changes can be made.Note: For more information on schedule incentive suspension reasons, see the Configuration section>Scheduling card>Schedule Incentive Suspension Reasons card.
Expired
The date when the schedule incentive agreement is no longer in effect, for example due to a suspension or termination.
Next Eligible
The date when the employee will again be eligible for schedule incentive. This date is calculated by the system based on the number of days of suspension required by the Suspension Reason assigned to the employee. This date can be manually updated by an authorized user.
Reviewer Comments
Free-form text field for the reviewer to add any comments regarding the approval/denying of the employee Schedule Incentive Agreement Terms.
Suspended by (Code)
The employee code of the supervisor that suspended the employee's incentive agreement.
Suspended by (Name)
The name of the supervisor that suspended the employee's incentive agreement.
Suspension Comments
Free form text field for entering comments regarding the suspension of the employee's schedule incentive rights. If the Editable Comment field was set to Yes, in the Schedule Incentive Suspension Reason configuration screen, the user assigning the suspension is able to modify the standard text.
Suspension Reason
The code indicating the reason the employee's schedule incentive agreement was suspended. Additional information on the reason is displayed in the Suspension Comments.
The options available are previously set up on the Configuration section>Scheduling card>Schedule Incentive Suspension Reason screen.
