The following fields are used to search for an existing record to configure or to enter information for a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) or Help Text.

Classification

The Time and Attendance and Staffing and Scheduling feature that is affected by the software program (e.g. Web Browser, Framework, Code Access Security, Report Viewer, Dashboard Viewer, Hot Fix).

Default URL

The default link that is provided by the system. For example, this may provide a link to an Internet site for installation instructions.

Download URL

Default installation links are provided, however a custom download URL for any of the predefined product (component), version and platform can be entered. If a URL is configured in this field, this is the download option that will be available to users. For example, this can be used to direct users to a download file on the corporate intranet, rather than linking the users to the default URL on the Internet.

Help Text

Text can be entered in this field and is visible when users click on the Download icon. For example, this Help Text box can include directions on how to run the installation.

Help URL

A URL can be entered here to direct users to a text document or an HTML page where they can access information on running the installation.

Platform

The platform for Microsoft products (Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista) being set up.

Product Name

The name of the software product that is being verified.

Usage

Indicates whether the version of the third party software is the Recommended version, a Required version (may be an earlier version than the recommended, but is still compatible) or Not Used (a version that previously was either Recommended or Required, but currently is not acceptable). There may be different URL entries for the different versions.

Vendor

From the drop down menu, select the vendor of the software to be configured (e.g. Adobe, HealthStream Inc., Microsoft Corporation).

Version

Enter the version of the software to be configured, if applicable.
