Selection Styles

In order for Education Tracking requirements to be validated during the Scheduling process, the Education Requirements qualification rule must be added to the Selection Style. This rule compares the employee qualifications to the education requirements for the potential profile to be scheduled.

Note: This qualification rule must be added to every selection style that has already been created, or a new selection style can be created and assigned as defaults for Automatic Scheduling.

Steps for Adding the Education Tracking Qualification Rule to a Selection Style:

  1. From the Configuration section>Scheduling card, choose the Selection Styles icon.
  2. Using the search criteria, search for the selection style to be modified.
  3. Select the Passes button in the left pane.
  4. Click on the folder to the left of a record to open a certain pass.
  5. Select the Qualification button in the left pane. The following screen is displayed:
  6. Drag the Education Requirements rule into the Selected Rules pane on the right.
  7. The order the rule appears can be changed by dragging the rule to another location on the Selected Rules grid. Red arrows indicate where the rule will be located.
  8. Save the record.
  9. Repeat steps 4-8 to update all the passes in a rule.

Note: For more information on creating new selection styles, see the documentation on Steps for Adding a Selection Style.
