Authorized employees can enter information regarding education tracking classes taken. Depending on the roles assigned to the employees, these transactions may need to be approved by a supervisor.
To add an education transaction, complete the following steps:
When Attended Date field, enter the date the class started. The
Start Time,
End Date, and
End Time fields can also be filled in, but are not required.
Course Code, or select it from the field look up values in the right pane. The
Description field is disabled and will automatically update when the record is saved. To enter transactions for courses that are not set up in the system, leave the Course Code field blank and enter a value in the Description field to identify this course. Note: This process can only be used for non-mandatory courses.
Score field, enter the overall score earned for this class.
Transaction Status and
Attendance Status codes. Only employees with transaction status options that are set with the
Passed option set to Yes will satisfy the course requirement.
Hours and
Credits are automatically filled in based on the Course Code entered, but are editable.
Cost is automatically filled in based on the
Course Code entered, but is editable.
Classroom(s) and
Instructor(s) information can be filled in.
Notes field is available to enter any additional information on this record.
