The General section gives basic information about the weekend worked, such as starting and ending dates, shifts and hours worked, etc.

Detail

Classification

The classification of this weekend shift, based on the indicator/parameter settings on the Assignment Code screen. Click on the More link for option descriptions.

The following options are available for the classification:

Qualified Weekend

Qualifies as a weekend incentive shift, but does not qualify as a Paid weekend shift.

Non-Qualified Weekend

Does not qualify as a weekend incentive shift.

Paid Weekend

Qualifies as a weekend incentive shift to be Paid.

End Date

The ending date of the weekend period.

More About Date Value Fields

Hours

Number of qualifying hours in the weekend period. This value is calculated by the system, and determined by the indicator/parameter configuration on the Weekend Incentive (Wkd Inc) Assignment screen.

Number

The numeric value assigned to the weekend. This starts at one and is incremented for all following weekends. If manual entries are made which skip numbers, calculations will just add to the highest existing number.

Pay Group Instance

The pay group for the current home labor distribution of the selected employee which includes the weekend.

Shifts

Number of qualifying shifts in the weekend period. This value is calculated by the system, and determined by the indicator/parameter configuration on the Weekend Incentive (Wkd Inc) Assignment screen.

Start Date

The starting date of the weekend period.
