Add a New Labor Distribution

Most often, employees apply a grant or project code to clockings in their existing labor distributions. However, you may decide to create alternate labor distributions for employees who work in different organization units while working on the grant or project.

If you do not download labor distributions, you can create them by completing the following steps.

  1. Search for and open the employee's record.
  2. Under Employee Sections, click Labor Distributions.
  3. Under Labor Distribution Actions, click the appropriate Add button, such as Add Alternate and Add Alternate Home.
  4. Complete as many fields as needed for the employee, including the Grant Code or Project Code field.
  5. Click the Parameters tab and complete any necessary fields.
  6. Click Save.
