Enable Quick Codes, Projects, and Grants on Time Clocks

Series 5000 Time Clocks support the ability for employees to select projects and grants based on the labor distribution they are clocking in to and to use Quick Codes for quickly clocking. By default, this is their home labor distribution; however, if the employee changes the organization unit, the list will refresh based on that selection.

Series 5000 Time Clocks support Quick Code entry and enable projects and grants by default. Employees will only see Quick Codes, projects, and grants they are authorized for based on the labor distribution. In other words, they will not see a full list of all available Quick Codes, projects, and grants, only the ones that apply to them.

To confirm Quick Codes, projects and grants are enabled, complete the following steps.

1. Navigate to System > Application and search for the TIMECLOCK code.
2. Open the record and switch to the Indicators tab.
3. Review the System Standard Indicators.

   On-screen descriptions are available. There is one prompt for each for Quick Codes, projects, and grants.
