Set the Coverage Period Parameter

Defining the shift code that applies to a coverage period enables you to filter qualifying staff on the Current Staffing Overview to only include employees with a matching home labor distribution shift code value.

To set the coverage period's shift code parameter, complete the following steps.

1. Navigate to Configuration section > System card > Coverage Set screen.
2. Search for and open the desired coverage set.
3. Select the Coverage Periods section.
4. Expand a coverage period record, click the Parameters tab, and expand the Staffing and Scheduling card.
5. In the SS Solution Standard Alpha 1 field, enter the shift code value.
6. Click Save.
