Activity Codes

The Activity Codes screen is used to indicate which activity codes can be selected for Requests to Work.

Note: Multiple activity codes can be activated for Requests to Work at the same time by using the Replace features. More About Replacing Activity Code Values

  1. From the Configuration section>Scheduling card, open the Activity Codes screen.
  2. Search for the activity codes to be updated, and select them by checking the box to the left of each record.
  3. Click on the Indicators tab, then open the Staffing and Scheduling card.
  4. Set the Activity Code Indicator SS Solution Standard 2 to Y for all activity codes that accumulate toward coverage totals. Only activities where this value is set to Y are available for submitting Requests to Work by the employees.
  5. Open the Schedule Process card.
  6. Set the Activity Code Indicator Schedule Standard 7 to Y for all activity codes that can be used when requesting a schedule. Activities where this value is set to Y are included in the listing when an employee searches for available schedules for submitting Requests to Work.
  7. Save the updated record.

NOTE: If specific Activity Codes are set up to be worked for a Profile, they must also be activated for requests to work in the Configuration section>Labor Distributions card>Profiles screen>Activities section by setting the Request to Work field.
