Set the Application Indicators and Parameters

To set the application indicators and parameters, complete the following steps.

1. Navigate to Configuration section > System card > Application screen.
2. In the Code field, enter the code for the application you are updating and then click Search.
   • TA
   • TEL
   • QUICKBADGE
   • WEB
3. As needed, click the Indicators and Parameters tabs and update the necessary fields by using the following table as a guide.
4. When finished, click Save.
5. Repeat steps 1 -4 for the remaining applications.

   TA	Indicators	System	System Standard 2: Determines if the Lunch Attestation feature is enabled	Yes or No	Select Yes to enable the Lunch Attestation feature.
   TA	Parameters	System	System Standard Alpha 2:* Final out punch question text	Any text	Default text: Is this your final out punch? If so, press Yes, otherwise, press No. Change as desired.*
   TA	Parameters	System	System Standard Alpha 3:* Full lunch question text	Any text	Default text: Have you taken your full uninterrupted lunch today? If so, press Yes, otherwise, press No. Change as desired.*
   TA	Parameters	Posting Process	Posting Standard Alpha 1: Determines what special code posting will try to use when it needs to add the "No Lunch" special code to a clocking	Any No Lunch special code	Enter the code for the appropriate No Lunch special code. Example: the code for the No Lunch special code may be NL; enter NL For more information, see the Understanding the No Lunch Special Code section.
   TEL	Indicators	System	System Standard 7: Determines if Lunch Attestation prompts are enabled for the Telephony subsystem	Yes or No	Select Yes if Lunch Attestation prompts are used with TimeCall.
   QUICKBADGE	Indicators	System	System Standard 2: Determines if Lunch Attestation prompts are enabled for the Quick Badge subsystem	Yes or No	Select Yes if Lunch Attestation prompts are used with Quick Badge.
   WEB	Indicators	System	System Standard 22: Determines if the Shift Answer column appears on the transaction list	Yes or No	Select Yes if the Lunch Attestation answer should appear in the Shift Answer column of the Transactions List on the TCS.

*These two parameters control the wording of the prompt questions for Quick Badge and EIS badge readers. The questions on TA-500 badge readers and through TimeCall cannot be changed.
