Create Profile Groups

Profile groups allow you to combine similar profiles to view a summary of coverage information instead of viewing profiles separately. Profiles that are not assigned to a profile group are included in the Other column on the CSO.

Example: Profiles RN1, RN2, and RN3 are qualified to work the same shifts. You can group them together in a single RN profile group.

Create profile groups

To create profile groups, complete the following steps.

  1. Navigate to Configuration section > Labor Distribution card > Profile Group screen.

There may be several default profile groups included with your system that appear on the screen.

  2. Under Profile Group Actions, click Add.
  3. Enter a code and a description to identify this record.
  4. Click Save.
  5. To change the order that the profile groups appear on the CSO screen, follow these steps:
    1. In the list of profile groups, for each profile group, select the correct number in the Display Order column.
    2. Click Set Display Order.

Add profiles to profile groups
